One saved job pays for the month.
The average home service job is worth a few hundred dollars before it's worth thousands. If Genie catches one call a month that would have gone to voicemail — and then to your competitor — it has covered itself. Everything after that is margin.

Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial — no card needed — and calls past your allowance bill at $1.50 each. Your phone never stops answering because you had a busy month.
Every plan includes.
You keep your number
Calls forward to Genie only when your line is busy or nobody answers. Your team always gets first crack at the phone.
Every call, transcribed
Name, number, what they wanted, and the full conversation — waiting in your dashboard, including the 2am ones.
The guardrails
It won't quote a price you didn't set, invent an answer, or offer a time it can't see. Checked before your receptionist goes live, on every plan.
Edit and publish yourself
New service, holiday hours, a changed number — update it in plain English and it's live on the next call. Roll back if you change your mind.
A 14-day free trial
The clock starts when your receptionist is approved to go live — not while you're still setting it up. You hear it answer before you pay.
Overage that never cuts you off
Past your allowance, calls bill at $1.50 each — with a heads-up email at 80% and 100%. A busy month costs a little more; it never costs you the phone.
Questions owners actually ask.
What counts as a call?
A call Genie actually picks up and handles. Calls your own team answers never reach Genie, so they never touch your allowance.
What happens when I use up my included calls?
Your phone keeps answering. Extra calls bill at a flat $1.50 each on every plan, and we email you at 80% and 100% of your allowance so the invoice is never a surprise. If it keeps happening, the next tier up is usually cheaper than the overage.
How does the free trial work?
Sign up, tell Genie about your business, and request go-live. Once we've reviewed your setup and approved it, your 14-day trial starts — so setup time never eats into it. No card is required to start, and you hear your receptionist answer before you pay anything. The whole thing, step by step: how the trial works.
Do I need a new phone number?
No. You keep the number on your truck and your website. Your carrier forwards calls to Genie only when you're busy or don't pick up — it's a short code dialed on your phone, and we walk you through it.
What does the setup fee cover, and how do I avoid it?
Getting your receptionist built and checked before it takes a real call. It's waived entirely on annual billing — which also gets you twelve months for the price of ten — and Scale never pays it.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Monthly plans are month to month, and you can move up or down a tier from your billing page as your call volume changes.
I have more than one location.
Multiple locations can share one bill and one pooled call allowance, so a quiet branch subsidises a busy one instead of both paying for headroom. That's a conversation, not a checkout form — email us.
Stop paying for missed calls.
Set up your receptionist, hear it answer, and put it on your missed calls — all before you pay a dollar.
